Trip made in: August
STATE PARK RATING: ROCKY
***
Topography and Geology of area-
Pine and oak woods, sandy prairies, sandstone cliffs up to 50 feet high.
There is a combination of wetlands and highlands that provide a warm-dry and cool-moist atmosphere.
Common activities:
Walking, and picnicking.

This park has several evergreen varieties of trees which provide a different set of wildlife in this particular area. This is a smaller park but still worth the walk to go on the trails with the exception that there are a lot of overhanging trees on the path.
